The Swahili have a great history. However, they are not attempting to live in the past. Maintaining their culture, they are trying to modernize. They are good business men and Islamic, taught well by the early Arab traders. I was received with respect and learned much about the Swahili in one visit. Come; see what I saw and meet the people.
